Installation Notes
Always replace the orifice tube during compressor replacement or system flush, as the inlet screen traps metallic debris from compressor wear. Install with the flow arrow pointing toward the evaporator. A clogged orifice tube causes poor cooling performance, high head pressure, and potential compressor damage. Use an orifice tube removal tool to extract the old tube without breaking it inside the liquid line.
